I was interested in art from a fairly early age. I attended morning life drawing classes for several years at The Byam Shaw School of Art and went there to complete the first year of my art foundation course eventually moving on to Chelsea School of Art. I have always been interested in form, colour and texture and my main influences have been the french Impressionists, Turner, Cezanne and Georgia O'Keeffe. I have also recently become interested in the work of Paula Rego.
I have been attending various art courses/workshops at City Lit in London since 2013 to increase my portfolio and will be exhibiting a few works done in one particular workshop over the past 18 months from 6 to 20 October 2014 on the 3rd Floor.
I am participating in a 6 week Sunday Sunday course starting on 9th November. Pictures of some of the work produced will be posted on my Facebook, LinkedIn and Wordpress pages during November and December.
